Today's news:
The comic will be updating irregularly on Tuesdays. (For now, "irregularly" means rarely.)
It has been way too long since the last update.
Fact: My life has changed a lot. As a parent, I have a lot less time and very different priorities than I had before - the webcomic is way down on the list of things I want to do with my life right now, and way down on the list of things I want to do if I find some time for myself.
Fact: I don't enjoy drawing. I'm not good at it, I don't enjoy it. Whatever art I can manage is barely enough to carry the story, but I dread drawing it because I'm never happy with the result, and I feel like I should do better, and I can't. It would take a lot of effort and hard work to get better at drawing, but I don't want to put in that effort at this point in my life, because it takes time that I don't have, and it kinda requires that I would enjoy doing it, which I don't.
Fact: I don't want to leave you hanging. I started this because I had a story I wanted to tell, and I know there are still many of you that have been reading this story and want to read it to its conclusion. I do want to finish it. I don't know when, or how I will manage, but I will keep trying.
(Note: The provider that hosted the forum has disappeared without a trace. While I have backups of the forum, I don't currently have the resources to set it up again somewhere else. The RSS feed also is currently broken, and I don't know when I'll get around to fixing it. In the meantime, by far the best way that I know of to keep track of updates is Piperka, check it out!)
